Give Brilliant Performances
The world is ready for you. Be ready for it.
Welcome classical musicians, singers of all styles, actors, dancers, instrumentalists, speakers, comedians, circus folks and all performing artists. This page is dedicated to you.
Being a performer is exhilarating. It requires guts and a vast set of skills. It is also one of the most vulnerable things we ever do. Performers are a breed apart. Many of us have a love-fear relationship with the very action that lives at the core of who we are and brings us so much joy when all goes well.
Perhaps you are a performer for whom the stage is downright challenging. You long to share your message. You’re called to sing it, talk it, dance it and play it, yet your inner rock star freaks out at the idea of being seen in such a big way. You are pulled toward the light and you are afraid of it at the same time. You are not alone.
Like many of you, I struggled with this issue. I even quit singing and performing all together due to my crippling stage fright and self-doubts. When the proverbial 2×4 hit me silly many years later and made me look hard at how far I had strayed from my performing and creative self – and the hole it had left in my heart – I embarked on a personal growth journey and started my studies on performing and performers, stage fright and performance anxiety, and stage presence and confidence. Being my own guinea pig at first, I gathered and developed techniques that work. They have become the cornerstones of my performance coaching practice.
I am grateful to be on the other side and to be able to share my knowledge and experience with artists slowed down by shaky confidence and performance anxiety. No artist should ever have to quit performing due to fear. You may need a few tweaks here and there or you may need more in-depth work. What’s important is to learn about yourself, to continue performing, and to become a stronger and more accomplished performer.
Do not give up! Trust that the urge to perform is a call to
express yourself fully
and that you won’t settle for less.
If you are a professional performer, your challenges are many and the demands on you relentless. Between the pressure of the actual performances and finding your next gig, venues or financing, plus dealing with your agent, manager, touring schedules and peers (and let’s not forget the delicate dance of family/love/art/leisure balance), you may find yourself wondering if what started as a love affair isn’t slowly degrading into the dark night of the soul. You may slip into existential crisis and burnout and feel that your life has become empty and out of control.
You do not have to face it alone. These are the times where an experienced performance coach can gently guide you back to yourself and to your own answers. Let’s end the suffering. You deserve to thrive doing what you are passionately called to do.

I am sure that a good 99% of us have had to deal with a few of the above at one point or another. There is no shame in admitting it. It is an act of courage to seek guidance but hey, you are a performer, you have “bravery” written all over you.
It’s your time. Give this innovative style of coaching a try.
” After almost 20 years as a professional rocker, I needed to regroup and find my groove again. I tried different modalities. Nothing stuck. A friend pointed me in Coleen’s direction. Wow! What a difference! No superficial crap here. No gimmicks. Deep work that will serve me all my life. The “magic feeling” on stage has returned. Bless you, babe!” Rock singer – Sydney, Australia
